An autobiography by the actress and society hostess. She was born Madeleine Bouton in Iowa, and originally married a Baron, though they later divorced. After escaping Russia with her second husband, the Count Nostitz, who later died, she married a third time (this time a Spanish nobleman), and lived in Biarritz. She is also the author of The Countess from Iowa.
