A thriller that inspired Alfred Hitchcock's 1945 film Spellbound, starring Ingrid Bergman and Gregory Peck. The setting is an insane asylum, in which the psychiatrist in residence begins to suspect that the man who recently replaced the hospital's director is an impostor.
