Map of Radcliffe College and Harvard University on endpapers. A history of the college founded in 1879 as a sister school to Harvard. It began as an all-female school, and was considered a very distinguished institution, grouped with Bryn Mawr and others as one of the Seven Sisters colleges. It eventually merged with Harvard.
