A 19th century Italian travelogue by an author traveling in the area for the purpose of (according to his introduction) revising a book entitled 'The Florentines, or Critical Letters on Dante,' though we found no evidence that this work was ever published. Etna; and a map of the four cities of ancient Syracuse in the text.
