Twenty-seven issues of The Illustrated London News, bound in one half-leather volume. Green leather spine and corners, gilt titles and rules, marbled boards, edges, and endpapers, five raised spine bands. Numerous engravings throughout (including several with a partial fold-out), with an index of these preceding the periodicals, and an engraved title page preceding that, which states that this volume was released on July 16, 1870.
