Original beige blind-stamped cloth, paper spine labels, photographic endpapers. Frontispiece to each volume. A collection of short biographies of famous individuals by Elbert Hubbard, one of the leading figures in the Arts & Crafts movement in the United States, who founded the Roycrofters in East Aurora, NY. The hand-crafted items they produced are widely collected for their quality and aesthetic appeal, and the buildings which comprised the Roycroft Campus currently enjoy the status of historical landmarks.
